Through the UQP, relief assistance and services will be delivered easily and speedily to residents, according to Taguig City Mayor Lino Cayetano.
He added that the UQP will help in the monitoring and contact tracing that the local health authorities are doing in relation to the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) infection.
The local government started the distribution of UQP last week and began replacing the old home quarantine passes that individual barangays initially distributed.
The UQP may be used by any member of the family provided that the holder is not sick and aged 18 to below 60 years old.
The bearer must, at all times, bring any government-issued ID along with the UQP.
First-time offenders of the quarantine guidelines, according to the LGU, will be sent for community service while detention of up to 12 hours awaits second-time offenders.
