Grab driver, cop in driveway fight refused to settle dispute

The female grab driver and police officer involved in a heated confrontation in the driveway of a coffee shop in Taguig City refused to negotiate.

Both are determined to file complaint against each one. 

According to Taguig City Police Chief Col. Celso Rodriguez, he advised the police commander of the Ususan Police Station to encourage only female Grab driver Florence Norial and Police Capt. Ronald Saquilayan that they will just fix the issue so that it does not reach the prosecutors office.

But according to Rodriguez, both are hot-tempered so the Police did nothing but accept the complaint.

Tuesday night when the Taguig Police arrested Norial who allegedly hurt the police officer and said he only did it as self-defense because the said policeman pushed him.

The two got heated when Saquilayan allegedly blocked the driveway in his car where Norial was behind him who wanted to pass.

For now, according to Rodriguez, they are just waiting for the resolution from the prosecutor regarding the said case.

Until now, 26-year-old Mary Florence Norial has not posted bail.

Meanwhile, the Taguig Police formed a board of inquiry to investigate the incident which may also have violated the Ususan police in connection with Norial's arrest.

"Tinitignan natin kung meron bang infraction na na-commit ang ating kapulisan dito. Hindi naman natin kinukunsinti ano ba ang pagkakamali ng ating kapulisan," said Rodriguez.
